Programme Introduction
Jointly promoted by Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) and DaiWai (International) AI Technology Company Limited, the “PICCKS x Weilai AI Sports Pilot Programme” is launched in response to the HKSAR Government’s inaugural “Action Plan on Weight Management.“ Utilising camera sensing and artificial intelligence (AI) motion recognition technology within the Weilai App, the programme provides real-time analysis of users’ exercise performance, calculates Body Mass Index (BMI), and automatically records exercise frequency and energy comsumption.
Hong Kong primary and secondary school students can log in to the Weilai App and follow instructions to complete daily exercises. This helps build a regular exercise habit for a healthy lifestyle while accumulating “sports energy” in the app and PICCKS points for rewards.

Enhance the sense of achievement by presenting exercise results through data visualisation.
