Riding Horses and Learning Without End: Showcase Your Talents in the New Year
With the arrival of the new spring, everything is renewed! To encourage students to continue learning during the holidays and to establish good self-learning habits, the EdCity has specially launched the “Self-Learning Challenge for the Chinese New Year”. During the event, students can participate by completing a variety of self-learning tasks, such as activities in the Small Campus, participating in the Knowledge Fun+ Quiz Challenge, and submitting work in the eWorks. Participants only need to log in with student EdCity account and complete a certain number of tasks to have the chance to win rewards such as book vouchers, Too Easy doll, and Small Campus coins.

Hong Kong primary and secondary school students (with an EdCity student account)
Participation Requirements
- Participants must first fill out the registration form.
- Participants will receive notifications about self-learning tasks via the registered email on specified days.
- Participants must log in to the EdCity website using student account and follow the instructions to complete the self-learning tasks.
Event Schedule
From 2 February 2026 to 1 March 2026 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays), EdCity will send self-learning task notifications to successfully registered participants via their registered email.
Participants must log in to the EdCity website with their account and complete the self-learning activities as per the task requirements.

Each student who successfully participates in the self-learning challenge will receive a e-certificate as recognition.
EdCity has specially established the “Active School Participation Award” for each group (including primary and secondary school) to recognise the top 10 schools with the highest student participation. Awarded schools will receive a physical certificate as recognition. This initiative aims to encourage schools to participate in the self-learning challenge activities in a whole-school manner and to cultivate students’ ability for self-learning.
Note: If the number of days completed is the same, priority will be given to the participant who completed the tasks first. EdCity reserves the final decision on the distribution of gifts and the termination of the activity. In case of any disputes, EdCity retains the final decision, and participants may not contest it.
