PICCKS Student Scheme

The PICCKS Student Scheme encompasses multiple learning activities for students to participate in throughout the year or on an ongoing basis, grounded in six key learning attributes: (P) Positive Mindset & Values, (I) Innovation & Creativity, (C) Communication & Collaboration, (C) Citizenship, (K) Knowledge & Skills, and (S) Sportsmanship.

Positive Mindset and Values

To face situations with a positive mindset, bringing a positive impact to oneself and others.

Innovation and Creativity

Dare to explore, blending creativity and imagination to unlock infinite possibilities.

Communication and Collaboration

To practise listening, inclusivity, and collaboration with others, harnessing the spirit of teamwork.

Citizenship

To honour civic responsibilities by actively engaging in community service, safeguarding national interests, and upholding the national image.

Knowledge and Skills

Embrace lifelong learning and enrich knowledge and skills, integrating theory with practice to lay the foundation for personal growth.

Sportsmanship

Respect competition rules, emphasise teamwork, adhere to fair play principles, face challenges with courage, and pursue excellence.

Students can take part in programmes under the PICCKS student scheme to accumulate points on the six key learning attributes. This allows them to understand and develop their learning profile to earn Star of Stars, gold, silver, or bronze awards in the programme. Top individual performers can even compete for additional awards at the end of the semester.
All activities in the PICCKS student scheme clearly indicate the learning attributes they cover, allowing students to easily discover and join activities of interest.
