April 15 marks the National Security Education Day. Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) has always attached great importance to nurturing students’ national identity and national security awareness. Through different activities, EdCity encourages the education sector to deepen their understanding in day-to-day learning and to foster correct values. For example, under the PICCKS Student Scheme, “Citizenship” is one of the key learning attributes. It is hoped that as students grow, they will take an active interest in social and national development, and develop a sense of law-abidingness and responsibility.
