Looking for ways to make the most of your summer holiday? EdCity is not only continuing its Reading Charter but also launching exciting activities throughout this summer to inspire students to read more and learn independently. Through engaging videos and games, you’ll discover the wonderful world of reading! Complete special missions for a chance to win book fair tickets, Reading Charter Cards, and autographed books. Join us now and make your holiday truly memorable with EdCity’s reading adventures!
Requirements
- Students must complete the registration form to participate.
- During the activity period, log in to the EdCity website to complete different reading missions.
Mission 1: Watch Authors’ Videos, Win Book Fair Tickets
- Task:
Watch the Reading Star videos. Students who watch the most videos will receive 2 tickets to Book Fair 2025. - Task Period
Week 1: 16–22 June 2025
Week 2: 23–29 June 2025
Week 3: 30 June –6 July 2025 - Quota
30 winners per week, with each winner receiving 2 book fair tickets. (This year’s Book Fair will be held from 16-22 July 2025. Don’t miss out!)
Mission 2: More Reading Records, More Reading Gifts
Task:
Participate in the Reading Charter and create reading records during different weeks. Students who create the most records during different phases will receive fantastic gifts from Edcity.Task Period
Week 1: 23-29 June 2025
Week 2: 30 June-6 July 2025
Week 3: 7-13 July 2025
Week 4: 14-20 July 2025
Week 5: 21-27 July 2025
Week 6: 28 July-3 August 2025
Week 7: 4-10 August 2025
Week 8: 11-17 August 2025Quota:
10 winners per week, with each winner receiving a gift set, reading charter card, or EdCity doll.
Mission 3: 'Book Ocean Adventure Challenge', Win Autographed Books
- Task:
Complete reading games based on the Top ten books pick during the specified dates. Students with the highest scores will have the chance to win either ‘Children Science’ or autographed books. - Task Period
Week 1: 28 July-3 August 2025
Week 2: 4-17 August 2025 (Updated Date)
Week 3: 11-17 August 2025 - Quota
5 winners per week, with each winner receiving either ‘Children Science’ or TTBP-themed autographed book.
