A variety of AI-generated short stories in video format are provided to meet the needs of English learners. Bedtime stories are designed to make learning English enjoyable and accessible through captivating narratives that can be watched and listened to at students’ convenience. There are designated themes for the stories. 

The stories provide opportunities for parents and children to engage in shared reading and listening experiences, promoting quality time and family bonding.

AI-powered storytelling brings creativity and imagination to the learning experience.

AI models can quickly create a vast library of unique, high-quality stories, providing a consistently engaging and educational experience.

Students are encouraged to colour the designated story covers (generated by AI) for each theme. They can draw in the blank areas around the graphics. 

By providing students with an opportunity to practice and refine their colouring and drawing techniques, the activity contributes to their overall artistic development.

By encouraging students to colour AI-generated graphics and draw in blank areas, the activity fosters creativity and personal expression. 

By interpreting themes and making creative decisions on how to colour and draw, students develop critical thinking skills. 

Levels of Entry

  • Junior Primary Level (Primary 1 to Primary 3)
  • Senior Primary Level (Primary 4 to Primary 6)

Oct 2024 – May 2025

Artwork Requirements

Each participant can submit at least one coloured story covers from the designated theme.

  • The colouring sheet, used as the base to further design the cover, will be available for download here starting from October.

Bedtime Stories

The bedtime stories initiative is designed to encourage students to engage with English in a relaxed environment. Its main purpose is to foster a love for the language.

Prizes will include certificates and awards.

Results Announcement

Results for Story Cover Colouring will be announced on the website in mid-June 2025.
