With the global advancement of digitalisation, digital education has become essential for enhancing competitiveness and developing talent. Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) has launched “Points & Rewards”, and in the first phase, it is being implemented in primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong. The programme uses a rewards scheme based on accumulating Learning Points to encourage students to make good use of EdCity’s online learning resources. Through this, students can develop e-learning skills and self-directed learning abilities, better prepare for future technology education.

Hong Kong primary and secondary school students (with an EdCity student account)

April to August 2026
Participation and scoring method
- Participants are required to complete this registration form.
- Participants are required to log in to EdCity on the 30th day of each month from April to August 2026 and use specified EdCity learning resources to study on that day* to receive 1 Learning Point. The participant with the highest number of points will receive the prize^.
Notes:
* 1.For details, please refer to the “EdCity learning resources” session and select appropriate learning content to earn Learning Points. A maximum of 3 Learning Points can be earned for each learning type.
^ 2.Only one Learning Point will be counted per month. EdCity will prioritise the participants who completed the learning resources the earliest for award prizes.

- Students who have not used the EdCity learning resources website in the past three months will receive an additional HK$50 voucher/gift if they successfully register and become one of the first 500 participants to earn 5 Learning Points.
- The top 10 schools with the highest cumulative user activity records# (separately for secondary and primary school groups) will receive the “Outstanding Campus Award.”
- The top 10 schools with the highest number of registered students (separately for secondary and primary school groups) will receive the “Active Participation School Award.”
- Each school award includes and certificate and book voucher with a value of HK$300.
Notes:
#To encourage sustained participation, only one activity record will be counted for each user per month.
EdCity will publish the list of prize winners on the website in September 2026. Please stay tuned.
Rules of the Programme
- Learning Points are limited to the account holder and may not be transferred, sold, exchanged, or collected on behalf of others; offenders will be disqualified.
- EdCity reserves the final decision on the distribution of Learning Points, awarding of gifts, and termination of the programme.
- In case of any dispute, EdCity’s decision is final and binding.
